It's amazing to me that you live in such a different part of the world yet things are so similar. Keep up your writing! I've never traveled outside of the U.S. and I love imagining that I'm walking in your back garden.
My mum’s family is in Yorkshire England, and many of your stories remind me of the towns and villages I lived in there during my younger years. Much of the housing is quite similar. Although they primarily lived in row houses. I remember taking the bus into town to go the library and the market, by myself at about 10 years old or so- something that would never happen today. Also walking several blocks to the primary school, and stopping at the corner store for 6p worth sweets on Fridays... thank you for sharing and giving us a peek at your life
