I too despise wasps. They are mean and nasty. I send my DH out to take care of any nests we see. We also have an ongoing war with carpenter bees. I thought when we replaced the wood deck with composite boarding they would go away quietly. Alas, they still buzz around the deck when we are trying to sit out. Perhaps I’ll find a good remedy on the internet this year and be done with them. As for your spiders- I’m pretty much of the same mind as long as they are outside. We have the brown recluse in our area and they are venomous. ( I think) but big and ugly in any case. Mum always called spiderwebs ‘Irish decorations’ ( no offense meant) and I love to see them in the garden sparkling with dew. A groundhog or two live under the old shed, and probably a couple rabbit nests. Driving at night one needs to watch for the occasional fox and the more frequent deer, as we are surrounded by farmland. Now that the weather is warming up, I hope the butterflies return to brighten the garden.

That's pretty lot of animal activity, thanks for telling how it looks like in your place! I wish the solution for your troubles with the bees will appear soon.
