I totally agree. With ‘sales’ becoming commonplace, it doesn’t make sense to join the Black Friday/week/month frenzy. Having worked retail before and seeing first hand how even 75% off ‘sale’ prices still leave much profit for the merchant, I’m not as impressed with those discounts as a store that sells it lower to begin with. Plus, COVID altered my shopping habits to research and order online. Thus avoiding the crowded stores that I hate more and more as I grow older.
I make a point never to participate in the Black Friday frenzy. The prices are not really any lower, I don’t like crowds ( although I like people one on one) and whenever I need something of importance I do a little research first. The chances of the product and specific brand and model being at a discount on BF are very low. So I buy what I need as I go, and unless is buying online, I don’t participate on the Black Friday frenzy.
